Last Sunday, I’ve seen the advertisement of Varga, a comic superheroine which is actually the forerunner of Darna. This new show will soon be replacing Kapitan Boom and will be the second offering of ABS-CBN in Mars Ravelo’s Pinoy Komiks Presents.
Mariel Rodriguez, an actress and a regular tv host of Wowowee will be playing as Varga with love interest played by his real boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo. (Interesting!) Hmmmn… I believe she fits the role because she is really funny and bubbly. I just hope her big break to acting will really get high ratings just like Kapitan Boom.
