Finding Nemo

I really want to watch Finding Nemo ever since I heard good reviews from this movie. I remember the first time I heard good remarks was when I had my first year of work as a tutor in a certain tutorial center. The whole family of my employer watched it and they had been saying that it was really a good movie not to mention the lessons you get from watching Finding Nemo.

Luckily, days ago I find out that our neighbor has a DVD of it so I borrowed and watched it. And the movie is indeed beautiful. Though the story line is a bit simple but I really like the positive message it leaves to the audience.

What is it? Well, it is the love of a father to his son and believing on what your son can do. Marlin (Nemo’s father) went through a lot before he was able to reach Sydney and find his son. On the other hand, Nemo was able to learn so many things by overcoming his fears.

One more thing I like about this movie was the voice of Nemo (so cute and adorable fish). And the voice behind it is no other than Alexander Gould. He was 7 years old that time. I bet he is making tons of money out from this movie. By the way, Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres were also impressive as the voices of Marlin and Dory respectively.

Naruto is the Best!

Naruto is my all time favorite anime! I am inlove with his character and if only Naruto is a real person, I would definitely ask him to marry me. LOL! (I’m just kidding you know. I know he will never be.)

Anyways, there are gazillion reasons why you should watch Naruto and I can’t enumerate them all for one posting. It would probably takes ages for me to do that so I will just have to give you a little of them okay?

1. Excellent story – when I saw the first episodes of this series I am really impressed and I just can’t get enough of it. Honestly, I was doing cutting classes just to watch Naruto. I didn’t have computer that time and I would even go to my classmate’s house just to watch this anime. Hehehehehe…well, the credits go to Masashi Kashimoto!

2. Colorful Cast of Characters – What type of person you are, you can choose from among the characters of Naruto where you can relate to. And if you would ask me who is my favorite character aside from Naruto well it is Hinata. It is pretty obvious. Infact, I have been using her character all this time. You can check my profile in friendster, avatar in mylot, my blogs and other stuff. Name it! I just hope Hinata and Naruto will end up together. I would definitely be the happiest person in the whole wide world. Wakekeekekee…

3. Great Morale or Lessons – Every episode of this series leaves you with something to ponder. Naruto will not only make you smile, laugh, cry but he will also inspire, touch and move you.

See? So what else are you looking for? If you still haven’t seen this anime better do it now! As in now na! I tell you, you will not regret it. Naruto is just the best!

Sugoi Doraemon

Doraemon is one of my favorite comic or cartoons series from Japan. I love the fact that GMA-7 invested on this good show. A lot of kids and even adults who are still children at heart (like me) really love it.

I don’t wake up that early but everytime I hear our neighbors TV already airing the show I would immediately switch our TV on too.

Just a trivia, don’t you know that this series started way back 1969? Whew! This is definitely a great Cartoon show that is why Doraemon is still gaining high ratings up to now. In fact, it has been translated into different languages already.

By the way, credits are also given to the dubbers behind Doraemon especially to the voice of Nobita. If you are interested to know about the story of this famous manga turned into a cartoon series then check it out here.

Daddy Long Legs

Daddy Long Legs (Watashi no Ashinaga Ojisan) has always been one of my favorite Shojo anime. (I knew about Shojo anime upon reading this article ) It says, a Shojo anime has always been about character and story above action.

I super like the story because I could really relate well with the character of Judy Abbott. Her cheerfulness in spite of everything that she had experienced. This is a good anime I highly recommend to all kids and feeling a kid out there. This was based from the novel of Jean Webster.

Daddy Long Legs, Shojo Anime

Judy Abbott is an orphan who has been given the opportunity to study at the prestigious Lincoln Memorial High School by a mysterious benefactor whom she only knows as “John Smith”. She has only seen his shadow once, and because of his long legs, she calls him “Daddy Long Legs”. The only payment she is to give her benefactor is that she write him letters every month, with no expectation of them being responded to^.

The anime covers 3 years of Judy’s life, starting with her leaving the John Grier Home orphanage, and ending with her finishing high school.

“Aking Ina” – Remi (Nobody’s Girl) Theme Song

Everytime my 5 cute little neighbors would turn their television on I always hear this song “Aking Ina” and I like the melody so much.

According to Buding, (a cute friend from home) Remi is all about the story of a little girl who was separated from her parents. She was adopted and taken care of by a lot of people especially this kind old guy who later on died. She went through a lot of hardships. She worked at an early age and suffered from her employees too.

As the story progresses, she was able to see her real parents and brother. And the song was all about her longing for her mother. A very nice song actually! Good thing, Filipinos were able to come up with this kind of good music. Check it out guys!
