All 11 eliminated contestants opened the show with a rousing rendition of ‘Glad You Came’. The Idol judges also made the stage hot with their own performances where in one, Mariah Carey sang a medley of her hits and even impishly called out to Nicki Minaj to not ‘be shy, and join in.’

It was also good to see Janelle Arthur rocking out with The Band Perry. She let loose with a couple of vigorous kicks and enthusiastic head bangs. Angie Miller was also there with Adam Lambert in a ‘Titanium’ duet then later with her personal idol, Miss Jessie J. It was also right after that number that an invitation was extended to Angie to come to London and perform. She said yes, of course! Amber Holcomb later sang with Emeli Sande.

The finale would also not be complete without a few comedic reliefs here and there such as the eliminated guy contestants saying they were sabotaged and of course a short but amusing montage of what the judges were like. There was also a nostalgic but still funny video dedicated to the coolest ‘dawg’ ever, the longest Idol judge, Randy Jackson who has announced last week that he was leaving the show.

Now back to the finalists, Kree Harrison, that fortunate gal, sang with the dashing Keith Urban and the debonair Randy Jackson. Candice Glover sang ‘Inseparable’ with Jennifer Hudson in what was a very flawless collaboration. And finally, after several commercial breaks (not only here but in the US telecast as well) the moment everybody was waiting for has arrived and the American Idol Season 12 winner is…….Candice Glover! Way to go girl!

The live song ended with a very emotional Candice singing her single, “I am Beautiful” amidst the applause of family, friends and fans both in the studio and everywhere around the world. Congratulations!

‘The Heat’ is about a by-the-book, rigid FBI agent Sarah Ashburn (Bullock) who is forced to partner up with a detective that’s bound to push the limits, Shannon Mullins (McCarthy) to take down a Russian drug lord.

Both lead actresses are no strangers to their character’s personality. Bullock has previously played a slob, FBI agent in both Ms. Congeniality installments while the ‘wild child’ McCarthy is reminiscent of her role in identity thief.

The movie is set in Boston, before the tragedic bombing and features Bostonians such as Jane Curtin, Bill Burr and Joey McIntyre. As Melissa McCarthy said, “If this movie can help Boston laugh, then that would be great.”

With its great storyline and superb cast, I’m pretty sure it will.

Hunger Games, J. Law suddenly steps out of nowhere, apparently fascinated with the hat and photobombs SJP, her left hand barely touching the ends of the prickly creation. With an adorable and mischievious smile, J. Law quickly steps into the frame, almost hiding behind SJP. Lena Dunham and Marion Cotillard, look on, much amused.

While there were other elegant and punk inspired arrivals, this brief but charming incident was hands down the most memorable of the night. Soon afterwards, both award winning actresses shared a photo, with neither one photobombing the other.

Jennifer Aniston has apparently delayed her marriage to Justin Theroux in an effort not to ‘overlap’ days with the planned nuptials of her ex, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Aniston and Theroux were reported to have planned a summer wedding but after the news release that Brangelina is planning to do the same, Jen has pushed her big day back in an effort to not share the limelight.

Jen is also busy with projects lately. She has just recently finished a new movie, ‘The Ultimate Leonard Project’ and has her hands full redecorating the Bel Air mansion she and her beau shares. Taking her plans by the rein one at a time could really be just the wisest thing to do.

This film is directed by Baz Luhrmann, the same director who took the helm and brought us Moulin Rouge. He is joined on this project by cinematographer Simon Duggan who together, used 3d technology for this movie. This partnership only means more colorful sets, more intricate costumes, more lavish settings and more luxurious set designs.

The Great Gatsby will open in US theaters on May 10 and is set to be launched in Cannes, France on May 15. Critic’s reviews have been split, where some have called it ‘a stylish, colorful material piled on in excess and tinged with overheated melodrama’ while others laud it for ‘appropriate use of modern technologies and comparatively accurate adaptation.

But what else is in store for Season 4? Producers have been cryptic but word is out that new episodes will definitely explode with more adrenalin as intense dangers arise. Old political alliances will be broken and new ones will be forged. More details will surface with Annie’s unknown project be with Henry and Arthur and Joan’s relationship could possibly still be on rocky ground. As for Auggie and Annie? Let’s cross our fingers for more sizzling kisses between the cute couple.

Earlier, Cesar was reported to be linked with a starlet named Krista Miller and this caused mainly the 12-year relationship to falter and later lead to a breakup.

During an interview, Sunshine said she has no plans of reconciling with Cesar as of this time.

But on the other side, she said that they still have a communication due to the children. “We are friends. We are okay. We text especially when it’s about the children,” Sunshine said.

She then mentioned that if she has some work to do like a taping or of any sorts, the children will sleep in Cesar’s place. Sunshine does not deprive Cesar from seeing and mingling with their children and she shared that as a father, he is a generous and loving one.

On the other hand, she added that breakups do happen and there’s nothing more she could do about it. Though for her, separation is not a happy thing, but still she was grateful for what happened because it has made her stronger in dealing with life’s circumstances.

Sunshine has confessed that she had grown tired of the relationship with Cesar and that she was like waiting for a miracle. But the good thing she shared was that there really came a miracle: she was made strong by the trials.

She even does not care anymore of what her former husband is up to as of now. Sunshine said that whatever will make him happy, she will just be also happy for him. As of now, she would not like talking about negative things but instead, she is now focused with her work and children.

Alex gave a nod when she was asked about her love life as she said that the coming months and years will be busy due to work. She confessed that as of now, she has not given so much attention to such aspect of her life and stated that she would prefer to prioritize her career more, now that she’s with the Kapamilya network.

On the other hand, Toni expressed how happy she was to have Alex in the same station where she is also working.
